OpenAI announced GPT-6 and Intelligent UI in ChatGPT on October 7. Responses can include interactive interfaces for everyday questions, learning and small tools. That could shorten the distance between asking a question and exploring an answer; an interactive display still needs its facts and calculations checked. This is the company’s announced capability, not an AIVIO benchmark.

Google's September 9 plan update includes Sheets canvas for AI Pro and Ultra: describe an interface for a spreadsheet and Gemini builds it. The feature launched in August. Try one routine task on copied data and check that the interface edits the right records.
