Privacy Policy
Last updated September 2026. This describes what AIVIO actually collects and why.
What we collect
If you subscribe to the newsletter: your email address, the page or form you signed up from, and the date. Nothing else. We do not ask for your name.
If you create an account: your email address and a hashed password. We never store your password in a form we can read.
If you buy something: your email address, what you bought, and the status of the order. Card details are entered on Stripe's systems and never reach ours. We hold a Stripe customer reference so we can match a payment to your access, and nothing more.
Automatically: standard server logs, and records of conversion events such as a signup or a download so we can tell which pages are useful. We do not run advertising trackers or sell data to anyone.
Why we hold it
To send the newsletter you asked for, to give you access to what you paid for, to keep the site working, and to understand which content is worth continuing. That is the whole list.
Who else sees it
We use a small number of processors, each for one job: Stripe for payments, Supabase for the database and file storage, Vercel for hosting, and Resend for transactional email. They process data on our instructions and for no other purpose. We do not sell or rent your data, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.
How long we keep it
Newsletter records are kept while you are subscribed. If you unsubscribe we keep the record, marked unsubscribed, so a later import cannot accidentally add you back. Order and payment records are kept for as long as tax and accounting rules require. Ask us to delete anything else and we will.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe at any time, with no account and no password. You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing the address below. Depending on where you live you may have these rights under the GDPR or the CCPA; we apply them to everyone regardless.
Cookies
We set a cookie when you log in, so the site can remember you are signed in. That is the only cookie AIVIO sets. There is no advertising or cross-site tracking to opt out of.
Children
AIVIO is not intended for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that affects you, we will say so on this page and date it. The date at the top always reflects the current version.
